We've been living and working in Tucson since 1975. We came from New York City and chose to move here to enjoy the sunshine, big sky and majestic mountains! Living in Tucson has been the best decision we've ever made. The people are friendly, art and culture are plentiful, the lifestyle is easy, and the diverse natural beauty is unsurpassed! We've been GREEN since the 1980's! Barrie founded and operated the Arizona Waste Exchange, which kept industrial waste out of our landfills. He is a charter member of Tucson Clean and Beautiful, and in addition to volunteering at Outreach Recycling Centers, has served on their Board. He is the originator of the RUMBA competition - Re-Used Materials Becoming Art - which has gone city wide into schools. He has received Copper Letters from two of Tucson's Mayors for his never ending volunteer efforts in recycling and waste reduction. Twenty five years ago, we were blessed with having twin girls. We can tell you from first hand experience that Tucson is a wonderful place to raise a family! We have a love of the arts and have always been active in our community. Barrie is currently an Ombudsman and Panelist for the Statewide Real Estate Professional Standards Committee, which addresses Ethics and Arbritation issues. In addition, he is a Mediator and currently serves as immediate past President of the Board of "Our Family", a community service organization. He holds the designations of Sustainable Property (GREEN), Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Certified Negotiating Expert (CNE), and the Transnational Referral Certification (TRC). Janie has earned and holds the designations of Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and Internet Certified Realtor (e-PRO). There are only 4% of Realtors nationwide, that have earned all of these designations. We've been involved and investing in Real Estate since 1979, and have come to know most every nook and cranny in this town!
