RUMBA! (Re-Used Materials Becoming Art)
What: RUMBA is an annual student art showcase and competition specifically for art that is made out of recycled/previously used materials. Students of all ages and artistic abilities, school classrooms, clubs, and organizations are invited to participate. The competition was originally created by Barrie Herr as a recycling outreach program in 1991, and has continued under Tucson Clean and Beautiful.

When and Where: The showcase and competition will be held at the SAHBA Home & Patio Show on April 3rd, 4th and 5th at the TCC from 10:00a.m. to 8:00p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. on Sunday.

How to Participate: Click Here to print out a registration form. For more information contact Beki at Tucson Clean & Beautiful: (520) 791-5000 or (520) 791-3109, or email Beki at tcb@tucsonaz.gov

Are you an amateur or professional artist who works with recycled materials?

We invite you to show your work at this year's annual RUMBA event!

We are working to expand RUMBA to include an opportunity for adult amateur and professional artists to show your recycled art to the public. (Adult artwork is for display only.) Please contact Barrie Herr for more information at (520) 235-3955 or Barrie@TucsonMoves.com
